JOB
DESCRIPTION |
|
|
|
The
Technology department at Spruce Meadows is looking for several enthusiastic and
energetic candidates for fast-paced and exciting job openings. There are a
number of positions available, which coincide with the Spruce Meadows Summer
Series (from May 1st to July 15th) although there is potential for longer term
opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: timing
requirements and software applications for the sport of show jumping, set-up and
support for various show jumping competitions and basic troubleshooting.
Although the position is centered around the timing needs associated with the
sport of show jumping, the position may involve additional duties as assigned,
including those involving manual labour. Knowledge of show jumping is an asset,
however, it is not necessary; we will train the right hard working, goal
oriented person.

RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
|
|
- Operate and set up sport timing equipment
- Operate the timing equipment during show jumping classes
- General Electronics and Engineering support
- Tournament hours required
- This position could be considered an outdoor position at any time
of the year

CONDITIONS |
|
|
|
- Sound and Electronics uniform and / or dress code required
- Hard working, reliable positive attitude
- Able to work as a team player or independently
- Some computer aptitude
- Transportation to and from Spruce Meadows
