MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

“The World Cups and the 1988 Seoul Olympics. At 18 I was on the gold medal team and fourth, individually, at the Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia," Cindy said.

She was the highest placed Canadian, with Proton, at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, and was the Canadian representative at the World Cup Finals in Amsterdam earlier in 2006.

TID BITS

  • From age 10 to 13, Cindy was a competitive swimmer.

  • She has a passionate interest in environmental issues. "I think we have an ethical and moral obligation to endangered species. As a Canadian, I want to do positive things for animals and people without a voice."

  • She loves watching Vaulting, and said "those people are amazing athletes!"

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Member of the 2004 Canadian Olympic Team (Athens).

  • Won the Canadian League in 2005 and was Canada's representative at the 2006 World Cup Final in Amsterdam.

TID BITS

  • Partiarch I, who descends from Pik Bube I, Ben Faerie xx and Wendekreis, has sired a very high percentage of premium offspring. Rosenkavalier is sire of the dressage horses Rubens, Rubenstein I and Rosario 014.

  • “He’s a very interesting horse! He’s nervous inside, but comes across as confident - he worries. He’s relatively inexperienced at this level. He’s done a maximum of 12 grand prix in his life because I don’t go to Florida in the winter or do the European circuit.

  • "I found him in Germany," said Cindy Ishoy. "I liked his 3 gaits and his conformation. He’s compact and a good size for me…and he’s handsome and athletic.”

  • “He’s moody. You have to establish that you’re the main attraction and that he has to dance to your drumbeat. Once you do that, he’s your buddy. He can be sulky and gets depressed around people he doesn’t like, but you can turn it around fairly quickly,"
