MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

TEAM INFORMATION

• “We were eighth at the last World Equestrian Games and ninth at the Olympics. I’m pretty excited about the (2006) team. This is a very solid team.”

• The Team includes three members of the 2003 Pam American Games silver medal team, Olympians and World Cup competitors.

• The Dressage Team members went to Europe in July to train with Norbert van Laak.

• “All four riders took their ‘small tour’ horses; the up-and-coming youngsters doing Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I. They are our hopefuls for the Pan American Games in 2007.”

• Funding for the Team is provided by Sport Canada, the Canadian Equestrian Team fundraising efforts, and a private donation by supporter Karen Soupcoff (Dressage Canada’s Owner of the Year, 2003)
