“I
started Eventing about 30 years ago.”

Ian was involved in rugby and swimming in high
school and still skis when he has time. He owns
the majority of two competition horses, has a
school string of about 15 horses and several
young horses coming along.

Level III coach since 1987, with little time to
spare, Roberts says “This is all-consuming. I
give lessons and ride.” For relaxation he reads.
