MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
“I coached the Ontario Young
Riders Team in 1996 and 1997 to bronze medals both
years,” said Chris.
As a rider, he won the World Cup
qualifier in 2005, tied for lead in Canadian League
World Cup standings in 2005 and was a member of
winning Nations’ Cup team in Florida in 2006.

Chris has been involved with Show Jumping for 16
years. “I did hunters and ponies as a kid,” he
said, after his father traded four goats for a
pony to get him started.

For relaxation he enjoys
“Working at home in the
yard, gardening, fixing and cutting down trees.
I got a new chain saw!”

related to a number of top show jumpers,
including PS Priamos (Team Gold at the World
Championships / WEG in 1994 and 1998 – with
different riders).

“He’s sort of a shy horse,
not cuddly, a bit independent, but sensitive,”
said Pratt. “He’s an energetic ride and a
forward type of horse.

“He has a huge stride and is
efficient when he jumps. He doesn’t spend a lot
of time over the jump.”
