MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Ian
has represented Canada more times than any other
athlete in any sport.
He
was a five-time representative at the World
Championships (WEG) and is the all-time Canadian
money earner in show jumping. He has earned over $2
million at Spruce Meadows alone.
TID BITS

Ian’s first appearance on the Canadian Team came in
1971.

Canada Post issued a stamp to honour his most famous
mount, Big Ben.

Both
Ian Millar and Big Ben were inducted into Canada’s
Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
