MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Deslauriers was, and still
remains, the youngest rider to win a World Cup
Final, at age 19, two-time Olympian (fourth
individually in 1984), and member of the winning
Nations’ Cup team (Florida) in 2006.

“I
played hockey from age 6 to 18 (and) I started
show jumping at 10,” Mario said. “I started
riding when I was two and went to my first show
when I was six.”

An
energetic man, he said “I do sports to relax. I
spent two days at a beach, but it was too slow
for me.” He plays golf when his schedule
permits.

Nabab de Reve was an
international show jumper by Quidam de Revel,
one of the leading sires of jumpers. Paradigm is
related to the World Champions from 1990 and
2002 as well as three of the four members of the
Gold Medal team in 2002, one of which was by
Quidam de Revel. He is also distantly related
to Big Ben.

seems quiet but you always have to be alert
around him. The horse and rider have to adapt to
each other
