crosses to Leo San and is a son of Peppy San
Badger, making Lil Santana related to San Jo
Freckles (individual and team gold, WEG 2002)
and Pretty Much Eagle (team silver and
individual bronze, WEG 2002). Topsail Whiz,
whose offspring have won $4 million, is the sire
of Conquistador Whiz (individual silver and team
gold medallist, WEG 2002), Inwhizable (team
gold, WEG 2002) and Ghost Buster Baby (team
silver, WEG 2002, ridden by team-mate, Francois
Gauthier).

a lot of personality. He was bought as a
3-year-old and I’ve done most of the training,”
said Luke Gagnon. “He had worked cows but it
didn’t take long to change programs.”
