Supporting Veterans through equine-based therapy

With the arrival of spring, the Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation Chairman Mike Colborne presents a cheque to Can Praxis, an equine-assisted therapeutic facility that supports first responders (serving and retired), Canadian veterans, and their families living with an Operational Stress Injury (OSI).


Can Praxis founder, Steve Critchley, Director of the Board, Jordan Witzel and veteran Laurence Kettlewell, were present to accept the $20,000 donation which will help Can Praxis continue to offer life-saving programs at no cost to their participants.


The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation continues to support education, health & wellness, amateur & grassroots sport, community, and agriculture.
