This is a full-time position at 40 - 44 hours per week for $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. Spruce Meadows is a world-renowned show jumping venue which holds several tournaments throughout the year. Events are held on weekends; therefore, it is necessary to be available to work both weekends and nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with the busy Spruce Meadows Tournament Season.

The Jump Crew (attendant, sport - NOC: 6722) is a seasonal, full-time position at 40 – 44+ hours per week at a rate of $20-$25 per hour depending on experience. Spruce Meadows is a world renowned show jumping (equestrian sport) venue located in southwest corner of Calgary, Alberta which holds a number of tournaments throughout the year. Events are held on weekends, therefore it is necessary to be available to work weekends, overtime, early mornings, mornings, days and evening/nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with the busy Spruce Meadows Tournaments.

Individuals working in Timing & Electronics (Timers) at Spruce Meadows are responsible for the set up, take down and operation of all equipment assocaited with the scoring software for Spruce Meadows Show Jumping Competitions. Under the direction of the sporting officials (Judges), Timers reflect the athletes score in the software which is displayed for the public and used as the official score for final standings. Due to unique system, on the job training is provided.

The Irrigation Lead is the primary person responsible for the operation, maintenance and upkeep of the extensive irrigation system at Spruce Meadows, reporting directly to the Manager, Grounds.  Duties include, but are not limited to; creating and maintaining of daily watering schedules on turf, shrub and flower bed zones; irrigation equipment deployment and upkeep; inventory, maintenance and ordering of tools, parts and equipment; property drainage control; and irrigation system repairs or expansions as necessary.  Events are held on weekends, therefore it is necessary to be available to work both weekends and nights.
