This year is a milestone for Spruce Meadows as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, and equally significant for the Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation, which marks its 10th year of making an impact in the community.
Since its inception in 2015, the Foundation has contributed nearly $3 million to organisations and initiatives that bring positive change to the lives of Albertans. One of the cornerstones of our charitable efforts has been the annual Unstoppable fundraiser, which continues to inspire generosity and hope.
The 2025 Unstoppable fundraiser focuses on an urgent and often overlooked cause: preventing and ending human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Funds raised will support Not In My City, an Alberta-based organisation founded by Canadian recording artist Paul Brandt and his wife Liz, which brings communities together to raise awareness and take action on this critical issue. Through the years, Unstoppable has become more than just a fundraising event; it’s a movement that empowers change. Every donation, every auction bid, and every gesture of support helps create safer communities for vulnerable individuals across Alberta.
