Join us for an exciting and fun-filled event where young hobby horse enthusiasts can come together to celebrate their passion. Whether you're a seasoned hobby horse rider or new to the hobby, there's something for everyone. This unique and entertaining jumping competition will take place during our major tournaments below:

The 2026 Hobby Horse Challenge is open to children aged 8-16. Participants will get the chance to showcase their skills and creativity as they navigate a specially designed course on hobby horses. In order to compete, you must:


  • Bring Your Own Hobby Horse: Already have a beloved hobby horse? Bring it along and showcase your skills!
  • Purchase One Here: If you don't have a hobby horse yet, don’t worry! You can purchase a brand-new hobby horse at our shop in advance of the event!
  • or Lease with LeMieux: We will have a couple of LeMieux Hobby Horses on hand for leasing on the day at no charge for entrants

  • Eligibility: Children aged 8-16
  • Registration: $15 (+ G.S.T.) per competition (maximum of 9 competitions per competitor). Admission to the grounds will be complimentary for the entrant and one guest. 


Ribbons will be awarded for placings up to 6th place for both the Age 8-11 division and ages 12-16 division, with special prizes from LeMieux for those placing 1st through 3rd for all divisions. Whether you are a seasoned hobby horse competitor or trying it for the first time, this event promises fun, laughter, and a memorable experience for all participants.
