September Series Canadian Border Update

As of August 9, 2021, all vaccinated Americans and Permanent residents of the United States will be allowed to travel to Canada. Spruce Meadows welcomes all vaccinated American and Permanent Residents of the United States and all Canadian athletes to the:


‘National’ CSI 3* and CSI 5* September 1–5, 2021

‘Masters’ CSI 3* and CSIO 5* September 8–12, 2021

‘North American’ CSI 3* and CSI 5* September 14–19, 2021

 

You have the option to travel to Calgary directly from the United States or attend the tournaments at Thunderbird Show Park prior to the ‘National’.

 

As of September 7, 2021, vaccinated athletes from ALL countries will be allowed to travel to Canada. Spruce Meadows welcomes all vaccinated athletes from all nations and Canadian athletes to the:


‘Masters’ CSI 3* and CSIO 5* September 9–12, 2021

‘North American’ CSI 3* and CSI 5* September 15–19, 2021

 

International athletes and staff:


In an effort to make your journey to Calgary as easy as possible, please visit the Government of Canada websites for entry requirements and upcoming changes, or reach out to Maritime Travel for more information.  All international travellers will be required to have a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arrival in Canada and download and complete the ArriveCAN and COVIDAlert apps. All international travellers must be fully vaccinated with either the Pfizer, Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca, or Janssen/Johnson&Johnson vaccines at least 14 days prior to arrival to be eligible to enter Canada.

A negative PCR COVID-19 test prior to arrival, weekly on-site COVID-19 testing, and mandatory masking will be requirements for all attendees.
