2021 September Series Update

June 15, 2021

Spruce Meadows received full provincial approval today to move forward with its 2021 season of international sport. The schedule is set to run over the first 3 weeks of September.

After months of preparation and planning, Spruce Meadows has received approval to move forward from Alberta Emergency Management, Alberta Health Services, The Chief Medical Officer of Health for Alberta, and the Provincial Health Minister. The approved plan calls for the 2021 Spruce Meadows season of international sport to be a bubbled (protected) event, with no public attendance.

Spruce Meadows will now seek National Interest Exemption from the Federal Government for approved travel for international athletes.

With this news, Spruce Meadows is pleased to also announce it has dozens of 3-month seasonal employment opportunities in its Tournament, Grounds and Operation Services departments.
